\"Version<\/a><\/p>\n

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:\u00a0 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to get and a time to lose; a time to weep and a time to rejoice. <\/i>Ecclesiastes 3:1-6<\/p>\n

Yes, all of life is on a timetable.\u00a0 In the physical sense, we are born to die.\u00a0 But, in the spiritual sense, we are born to live.\u00a0 What then is our life?\u00a0 It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.<\/p>\n

God knows our frame; He realizes that we are but dust.\u00a0 It is from heaven that the Lord considers the earth:\u00a0 to hear the groanings of the prisoners; to loose those that are appointed to death.<\/p>\n

Death, then, becomes the release from these weak, frail, decaying bodies.\u00a0 We are humanly nothing more than perishables.\u00a0 With that in mind, life for all of us is really only a matter of time.<\/p>\n

But, from dust thou art to dust returneth was not spoken of the soul.\u00a0 The great hope for all of us is that those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life.<\/p>\n

Because of this, we no longer faint.\u00a0 Even though our outward man is perishing, the inward man is renewed day by day.\u00a0 This results from our having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible.<\/p>\n

Once that becomes the case for us, we can say, \u201cOh death, where is your sting?\u00a0 Oh grave, where is your victory?\u00a0 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.\u00a0 But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, death for us is but the entry way into our Heavenly home.\u00a0 This is the sweet release of death\u2014liberating us from these weak, frail, and often pain-filled bodies, into His glorious presence.\u00a0 Therefore, we can boldly say, \u201cEven so, come Lord Jesus!\u201d<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Heaven\u2019s gain is still our loss.\u00a0 Thus the sadness and grief at the loss of a loved one is both right and reasonable.\u00a0 Yet by the grace of God, we can confidently say, \u201cThe Lord gives and the Lord takes away.\u00a0 Blessed be the name of the Lord!\u201d<\/p>\n

May our Lord\u2019s comfort and sustaining grace be very evident in your time of need!<\/p>\n
