It points to the source of life\u2014Jesus Christ, who is the Living Word. \u201cSearch the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And you will not come to me, that you might have life\u201d (John 5:39\u201340).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce I asked a new Christian, \u201cDo you have a Bible?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, I do,\u201d he replied.<\/p>\n<p>Then I told him, \u201cGod has something to say to you through His Word the Bible. He wants to make Himself known to you in an intimate personal way, so that you can have a meaningful relationship with Him.\u00a0 But first you must discover God&#8217;s secret for effective communication. That secret is the Holy Spirit. The Spirit will explain the Bible to you and speak to you through it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Have you discovered this secret yet? The Holy Spirit is your own personal tutor. He always is available to interpret Scripture to you. \u201cHe shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance\u201d (John 14:26). The Holy Spirit, who is also known as the Spirit of Truth, desires to guide you into all truth. Therefore, in all things, you can trust the Holy Spirit to be your teacher and guide.
