Spiritual awakening\u00a0<\/strong>can occur anywhere, anytime, to anybody. But you must desire it! My first Spiritual awakening occurred in 1970 in South East Texas. After an intense time of brokenness, the Lord restored me, filled me with His Spirit and revealed to me that Christ was now my life. As the Spirit of God began to enlighten me regarding my identity in Christ, I would simply pass the latest insights on to our youth group. The transformation had begun; it was quite revolutionary! Thank God for new beginnings!<\/p>\n A good friend remarked<\/strong> that he had never seen anyone make such a positive change so quickly. Of course it wasn\u2019t me, but the transforming work of the Holy Spirit as I began to allow Christ to live His life through me.\u00a0But it wasn\u2019t just me, my wife Lue was right there with me and our youth group also began to come alive. They had a vibrant zeal for the Lord and a genuine hunger for His Word.<\/p>\n The youth would contact us<\/strong> requesting more Bible teaching and prayer times. They also began asking me how they could tell their friends about Christ! So, I regularly took them out witnessing. Over the next 2 years many young people accepted Christ and the youth group tripled in size. This spread to the children\u2019s group because they saw the change in their big brothers and sisters and asked me to share with them as well. Thankfully several of their friends received Christ as well!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Lewis and Lue Gregory\u00a0 Church Valentines Banquet 1970<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Such continuous revival<\/strong>\u2014a genuine spiritual awakening\u2014is available to anyone anywhere. You must first be willing to lose your life by accepting your crucifixion with Christ (Matthew 10:38-39). Then, take Christ as your life. Allow Him to fill you with His Spirit so that He can live His life through you. Once you do, the Lord\u2019s reviving, life-giving presence will flow through you continuously, and you will begin to experience continuous revival.<\/p>\n It wasn\u2019t until several years later<\/strong> that I realized we had experienced a\u00a0genuine Spiritual awakening!<\/i>\u00a0Thankfully, the fires of His passion have continued to motivate me throughout the years. God made me a minister and it has been my privilege to be an ambassador for Jesus Christ all over the world. I am very grateful for the trail of changed lives that have resulted to the glory of God.
