20\/20 Vision from God\u2019s POV<\/strong><\/p>\n Dr. Lewis Gregory<\/p>\n COVID-19<\/strong> has resulted in a pandemic that has devastated the entire world. Many people are hurting, confused and frustrated. Tragically some have even died. And it\u2019s still not over. And if that was not enough, other tragedies are occurring. Thankfully the Lord God Almighty has the solution for this as well as every other problem in life. GODVID-20\/20 will enable you to see things clearly, evaluate things accurately and handle things effectively.<\/p>\n GODVID-20\/20 <\/strong>is about seeing things from God\u2019s perspective. Which means that you see God<\/strong> in all things, trust God<\/strong> with all things, and experience God<\/strong> through all things! This involves making sure that you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, so that you can become one with God the Father.<\/p>\n Once you have become one in spirit with God, you will have the spiritual eyes to see God and the spiritual ears to hear God. The result: you will be able to see things from God\u2019s point of view. You will be able to deal with the problems of life, so that you will be able to get the most out of life! Only then can you truly enjoy the good times and endure the hard times.<\/p>\n This begins by an act of faith on your part. By faith, you need to embrace the biblical admonition of Proverbs 3:5-6. \u201c<\/em>Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding;\u00a0In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will direct your paths.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n TOTAL TRUST –\u00a0<\/strong>Trust is a very unique, God-given quality common to all mankind. Yet, it is often misguided. God never intended that we rely upon our own limited human understanding, but rather that we would trust completely in the all-knowing God, who\u2019s understanding is unlimited and infallible. <\/em>Yet ever since \u201cThe Fall\u201d of mankind in the Garden of Eden, everyone has ignorantly been struggling to live from the tree of knowledge.<\/p>\n And thus, we have all been leaning on our own understanding. However, this has resulted in a meager existence at best, certainly not the abundant life that our Creator God intended for us to enjoy. But there is good news! God has granted us the capacity to trust in order that we would entrust our lives to Him . . . and live! God wants us to live a full and meaningful life.<\/p>\n TOTAL SURRENDER –\u00a0<\/strong> So what about you? How is your life going? Who, or what, are you relying on to make it through life? It should be evident by now that you (along with the entire human race) are woefully inadequate for the daunting task of living life. That\u2019s a human impossibility.<\/em> God is the only reliable source<\/em> by which you can live the abundant life that He intends.<\/p>\n And just where is this source of abundant life? The source of abundant life is found in Jesus Christ Himself!<\/em>Therefore, stop relying on your own human understanding. And stop trying to figure out what Jesus would do so that you can imitate Him. Imitation is a poor substitute for the real thing! Jesus Christ is \u201cthe Life\u201d . . . the one and only true life. It\u2019s His life, and He alone can live it!<\/em> Jesus Christ came to indwell you in order that He might live His life through you. But you must let Him!<\/em><\/p>\n Therefore, entrust your life totally to the Lord Jesus Christ. Trust Him completely with every detail of every area of your life. Then simply rest in Him. He will do the living!<\/p>\n TOTAL LORDSHIP –\u00a0<\/strong> How many of us actually<\/em> acknowledge the Lord God Almighty in all our ways? Oh, we are quick to acknowledge the problem, the circumstances, the people, or even the devil. We readily express words of dismay, frustration, anger or hostility. And finally, if all else fails, some of us might even ask God for help. But an appeal for help does not constitute an acknowledgment!<\/p>\n ACKNOWLEDGMENT –<\/strong>\u00a0 What does it mean to acknowledge<\/em> Him? It means you recognize that JESUS IS LORD in your life, in your circumstance, and in the path He would have you to take. How do you acknowledge Him in all your ways?<\/p>\n This is possible, only after you have entrusted your total self to the Lord Jesus Christ and are actively trusting Him with all your heart. That is why Proverbs 3:5 tells you that you must first, \u201cTrust in the Lord with all your heart.\u201d Once you do, then you will be able to readily acknowledge His Lordship in all your ways, and then He will direct your paths. As you remain focused<\/em> on the Solution\u2014Jesus Christ your Lord, He will guide<\/em> you in the right direction.<\/p>\n Therefore, make a point of acknowledging the Lord first and foremost in everything, and at all times. Thank the Lord in all things and for all things. Then trust Him to lead you through it. This is the gift of God; and it is all because of God\u2019s mercy and grace! Therefore, it is time to simply agree with God by calling it like it is. So, go ahead say it!<\/p>\n \u201cDear Lord I give up depending on my human understanding. I will no longer try to figure things out. Come into my life Lord Jesus Christ. I give myself to You. I totally surrender myself to You; and I trust You completely with my life. Take complete control of my life and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, I thank You that You are in me, You are in this, and You will get me through this. Amen!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n As you do this, you will begin seeing God<\/strong> in all things, trusting God<\/strong> with all things, and experiencing God\u00a0<\/strong>through all things!
