GOOD NEWS FOR YOUR WEEK<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/span>TGIM – Thank God It\u2019s Monday!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

THE WORD IS:<\/strong><\/span> “Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. And if any man thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. But if any man love God, the same is known of Him.”\u00a0 1 Corinthians 8:1-3<\/p>\n

\n

THE POINT IS:<\/span><\/strong> \u201cYou know, that you know, that you know,\u201d or so it\u2019s been said. People also say, \u201cIt\u2019s not what you know, it\u2019s who you know.\u201d This is especially true when it comes to God, because He\u2019s all-knowing! When you are known of God and you really get to know Him, you develop a sense of knowing. It goes with the territory. You just know! His Spirit will make things known to you. You will be able to know the unknowable. He will grant you the kind of knowing that brings understanding. \u201cThe knowledge of the Holy is understanding\u201d (Proverbs 9:10). This does not refer to knowing about God\u2014an intellectual pursuit. It\u2019s about knowing Him\u2014a Spiritual revelation. Such knowing brings total transformation because He makes the application in your life! Unless you know God in an intimate personal way, you don\u2019t really know anything yet. But when you get to know Him, truly know Him, He will transform your life! You will have an experiential knowledge of the Lord and you will begin to experience Christ as your life in the practical, daily details of your life. This is God\u2019s love in action, building you up from the inside out!<\/p>\n


\nTHE APPLICATION IS:<\/span> <\/strong> Knowing God intimately and experientially as your life is the ultimate knowledge! However, the acquisition of intellectual knowledge, by itself, results in pride\u2014an inflated ego. This is why it is so important for you to recognize that God is the one who gave you the ability and the opportunity to learn. It is but one of many examples of His great love for you! This love compelled Him to give you the very best\u2014Himself! \u201cWe love Him, because He first loved us\u201d (1 John 4:19). Such love should prompt a love response from you in return. Have you given yourself to your Creator God? Have you accepted His rightful dominion over your life? Are you submitted to His authority? If so, then you\u2019re in good hands, because He looks out for His own! Therefore, thank Him for the wonderful mind He\u2019s given you and submit your mind, with all it\u2019s wealth of human knowledge, to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He will teach you all things and guide you in the way that you should go. And His way is always the best!<\/p>\n
