I read a very insightful letter from a friend who said, “Authority and power have no context outside the Kingdom of Heaven being established in the Earth. I believe this takes the Union with Christ message and reality up to the next notch.”

So, I made the following comments: Well put. I understand your point. Actually exercising our authority in Christ in bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth is the intended purpose of our union with Christ. As you may remember from the intro to my book The New You, union is only the foundation upon which our life and God’s Kingdom purposes are built: Union-Communion-Dominion.

This is God’s way to be fruitful and multiply and subdue the Earth (John 15). After all, as He is so are we in this world! (1 John 4:17) All authority was given to Christ and now He says to us, as the Father sent me so send I you . . . with all authority. We are seated with Christ in Heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). We are those under authority (His Lordship) and thus in authority. Therefore we must go and do likewise! The Kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21).

Oh God, grant that Your Kingdom would come, come here, come now. Lord Jesus, come forth through me, that Your will might be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Lord Jesus be Yourself in me, have Your way with me, live Your life through me. King Jesus come forth in my life; rule and reign through my life. This is Kingdom Living! All hail King Jesus!!!
