“When Christ comes into your life, He comes in all His fullness. ‘And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace’ (John 1:16). This is a reference to the person of Christ—not the human form in which He resided, but His true self. It is the Spirit of Christ that you have received, and you have received Him in His fullness. So, you cannot get any more of Christ than you have right now.
Yet, far too many Christians continue futilely to sing and pray about getting more of Christ. Getting more is not the issue! The question is, does Christ have all of you? If not, then do yourself a favor; and give all of yourself to Him right now. When He has all of you, then you can be filled with all the fullness of Christ Himself. Then you should be able to experience all that He is and all that He has for you—all of the time.” Page 164
