LOST AND FOUND

Several years ago, as we were preparing to go somewhere in the car, I discovered my driver’s license was missing. I looked in the most likely places, but to no avail. Perplexed, I told my wife Lue, “I can’t find my driver’s license.” So, we prayed, asking the Lord to show us where it was. Jesus said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (Matthew 7:7). Jesus said this many years ago. But can it still be relevant today? Yes, it can!

We paused to see if we got a clue from our Lord. Then Lue had the thought that it might be in my office chair. It seemed like an unlikely place for it to be. But since we have the mind of Christ, we have learned to trust our thoughts.

So, immediately we went to look there. And sure enough, there was my driver’s license underneath a pillow in the very corner of the chair. Hallelujah, God provides! If you ask the Lord, and then follow His lead, you will find what you need. Thank You, Lord!

GOD THINGS are all around you. You just have to look for them. So, look and by all means ask! In James 4:2, we are told that “You have not, because you ask not.” Most of us never think to stop what we’re doing and ask the Lord. And yet the Lord invites us to ask Him. He even promises that He will give good things to those who ask Him (Matthew 7:11). This is what it means to be led of the Spirit!

Ask God, and He will do His thing for you, in you, and through you. God makes the impossible possible! May your motto be, “Seeing God in all things, trusting God for all things!”
